Position Summary:

As a Salaried GP, you will deliver outstanding clinical care, attend regular clinic and management meetings, and contribute to the success of our clinics. This role is fixed-term for one year, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care:

• Deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care via face-to-face, video, and telephone consultations.

• Undertake patient home visits and nursing home visits when required.

• Manage administrative tasks, including reviewing test results, signing repeat prescriptions, responding to queries, and completing referrals promptly.

Collaboration and Development:

• Participate in regular clinic and management meetings.

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and audits.

• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

• Explore opportunities to develop leadership skills or extended roles, with tailored support.

Supportive Environment:

• Engage in daily clinician drop-ins to discuss challenging cases and share learning.

Qualifications and Experience – Must Haves:

• Registered GP with a valid GMC license (or about to CCT up to 2025).

• Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in primary care.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.

Desirable Skills:

• Special interest in mental health or dermatology.

• Knowledge of Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF).

• Awareness of public health issues and wider health arena challenges.

• Proficiency in using electronic health records.

Working Pattern:

• 6–8 clinical sessions per week.
